Description
I moved to Telluride from Vail, where I’d been teaching skiing, in an attempt to find an undiscovered place. After obtaining my real estate license and joining the Telluride Association of Realtors over 23 years ago I started welcoming some great second homeowner families this town has ever seen, to change up the "Vail lifestyle" and come see what Telluride has to offer.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell with two degrees: Mathematics and Computer Science before making my way out West. I have served for many local organizations and boards, including the Telluride Foundation, Telluride Association of Realtors Board of Directors (past President), Telluride Historical Museum, and the Mountain Village Homeowners Association.
My wife Kristin, who I met in Vail, is the founder and owner of Two Skirts, an upscale, high fashion women’s boutique store with locations here in Telluride and in San Francisco, and was voted Telluride Citizen of The Year 2014. Our older son, Brady, will be attending The University of Virginia in fall 2024, while our younger son Leyton will be a junior here at the Telluride high school. Both young men are three sport athletes; they enjoy soccer, lacrosse, and hockey.
I enjoy a $2 Nassau, mountain biking, and fly-fishing in my drift boat down the Gunnison followed by an Oregon Pinot. I have spent the last four years at the Cornerstone Golf Club, a hidden gem located in between Ridgway and Montrose, trying to make par and sell their memberships and real estate properties. Most notably is The Barn, a one-time mechanical shop and now one of the cooler golf course hangouts you’ll ever find. Come visit!
Nowadays if you want to find me I can most likely be found at the Hanley Ice Rink in Telluride’s Town Park, coaching the high school hockey team, or on the high school field coaching lacrosse.
